About S.M.A.R.T. Study Skills

In Primary & Secondary schools, Study Skills are Key

However, often students may not know how to start. During students’ “study hall” or “independent reading” period they may not know how to utilize their precious time.

Teachers seldom train students to read with a purpose, organize thoughts and notes, infer what comes next, or connect what they read to their own lives.

These are critical thinking skills we assumed students have and ended up not teaching them directly.

Honing reading and study skills takes practice, and synthesizing facts from a textbook, even a non-traditional one, is not as easy as we adult think.

Our Purpose

Smart Excel is the first learning center to partner with Ms Hamidah Bahashwan offering parents with SMART Parenting skills using Love & Logic, Triple-P (Positive Parenting Programme) and EI (Emotional Intelligent) Parenting competencies.

This is aim to provide stronger support for parents who wish to improve their children’s behaviour and reduce parenting stress.
