Focused on Academic and Holistic Development

The SMART Visual Series lay out the explanations for heuristics and model drawing application so that parents can understand and, in turn, teach their children.

Getting comfortable with Model Drawing techniques at Primary 3 determines how well children apply Models in mathematical problem-solving at Primary 4. Model Drawing Method is a great way to start children off on heuristics.

The steps are simple and logical, yet powerful in solving challenging questions involving Whole Number, Fraction and Decimal. Give your child a headstart with Model Drawing Method!

1. Whole Numbers
2. Multiplication
3. Division
4. Length & Mass
5. Volume & Capacity
6. Money
7. Fraction
8. Area & Perimeter
• Over 100 questions
• Level 1 – 3 for your child to practice.
• Questions come with Video Solutions
• E-Workbook

# Author & Principal Trainer

Suhailah Attamimi is the author & principal trainer of the Step-by-Step Model Drawing Series. She trains tutors, teachers, parents and students in various heuristics concepts and applications, with the special focus on pupils in their critical year (PSLE).

She also conducts heuristics workshops for parents and educators. Self-trained Suhailah taught primary Mathematics, in various streams, for more than 20 years in the 90s.

During that time, she observed how today’s transformed primary Math syllabus stumped students, parents and, sometimes, even teachers.

How do you teach young students to accurately choose and sequentially apply different situational logic in solving non-routine problems? Suhailah resolved to simplify the learning and application of such (Math Heuristics). Through years of research and development, Suhailah eventually established the Smart programmes. Results-oriented research has since proven the consistent effectiveness of the Smart Excel programmes.

In 2012, Suhailah launched the Step-by-Step Model Drawing Series, a complete and comprehensive guide to Math Heuristics for lower and upper primary students. The books serve students and parents on and beyond the SMART programmes.
